Capital Wetblasting has been a trusted name in commercial surface preparation across the Central Valley for more than a decade. The business was founded by Brad Prouty, who built its reputation on reliable work, consistent results, and meeting the spec requirements that contractors and facility managers depend on. When Brad retired in 2025, he passed the business to brothers Mark and Mike Orozco, both Modesto locals who know this region and the industries that run through it.

Brad didn't walk away entirely. He continues to support Capital Wetblasting in a consulting role, helping Mark and Mike carry forward the same standards that made the company what it is today. Most of our work is steel. We handle structural steel blasting, frame blasts, trailer restoration, tank preparation, and industrial coatings preparation for commercial and industrial clients throughout the valley. We also work with stainless steel using glass bead blasting, and we take on concrete blasting and corrosion removal when the job calls for it. If your coating spec has a surface profile requirement, we can hit it.

We recently added pool tile calcium removal to our list of services, giving property owners and pool operators in the area a professional option for stubborn calcium buildup without damaging tile surfaces. It's a natural fit for our wet blasting capabilities, and the results speak for themselves.

One of the things that sets us apart is our mobile setup. We run three mobile blasting units, which means we can come to your site, whether that's a job in Stockton, a facility in Livermore, or a frame drop-off from Tracy. For clients who prefer to bring work to us, we have a yard in Ceres where we accept drop-off jobs. That flexibility lets us take on projects of almost any size, from a single car frame to a large holding tank.
